2018 RAM Power Wagon Purchase

I recently purchased a new 2018 RAM Power Wagon through Larry H. Miller (LHM) Dodge Ram, Avondale. The sales process went well and I felt like I received a fair deal. The concerns or issues, which drove the overall sales rating of 2, were related to the post sale warranty process and the LHM staff's inability to answer questions related to the RAM options,features, etc. or the inconsistent conflicting answers to my questions. For example(s): 1. My research showed that Power Wagons come with rubber floor mats. Sales person indicates it does not. I later find on the 'shipping' document from the factory that it did indeed come with rubber floor mats, however, when I mentioned this, I was told it doesn't have rubber floor mats so I didn't get them. 2. I am old school and have historically performed my first oil change on a new vehicle at 500 miles. When asking when to change the oil on the new RAM the sales person said don't change until 2K miles, warranty person, who was pushing the warranty said every 4 months regardless of miles, and their head service manager says 7.5K miles or at 1 year, whichever comes first. I tend to lean towards the service manager's recommendation. Warranty person is trying to push the warranty product. Not sure whose advise to take. 3. The option to buy an extended warranty was confusing as the warranty information shared with me, as well as the answers to my questions related to the warranty coverage, was later to be found inaccurate once I thoroughly went through and read the warranty paperwork details. 4. This purchase is a very low mileage usage vehicle thus the benefit of some of the warranty items were not cost effective. For one warranty item I was under the impression that I would get six (6) oil changes. This was true, however, you had to use them within two (2) years. If I follow the service manager's advice and based on my usage, I would only use two (2) in total. Buying six (6) would not be cost effective. When asking the warranty person to cancel this warranty feature he was persistent that I needed to change oil every four (4) months thus the need for six (6). Who do you believe? The service manager who does this every day or the warranty person who is trying to sell you a product? In summary, I am satisfied with the vehicle, felt that I received a fair deal, and I have downloaded the owner's manual off the internet to answer my questions. Getting rubber floor mats and skipping the meeting with the warranty sales person would have elevated this to a rating of five (5).
