Purchased a new F-350 XLT. Disappointed in the lack of selection for both the used and new trucks. This is Alaska, KEEP TRUCKS IN STOCK!!! So, we wanted to purchase a 2013-2014 F-450 Dually....but, there are NONE anywhere. You would think that the used car manager at Kendall never heard of attending auctions. The used car side of Kendall barely had 70 vehicles and half those were cars and the rest were 1/2 ton pickups of various brands. Not a dually in sight. Not even a F-350 dually. Shame. Not only that....there wasn't a single 2015 F-450 dually on the lot!!! Again...Alaska....if you are sold out, it probably means you didn't buy enough...so get your butt to an auction and add some stock to your lot! Anyhow...as we were leaving the lot, we drove around back of the dealership to leave and we happened to see a 2015 F-350 sitting at the back service. We stopped to look at it and another salesperson came out...it was the best truck we'd seen...so we drove it. Talked to the salesperson for a bit...complained about the lack of 2013-2014 F-450 and F-350s on the lot. Then we left. Got home....looked at the inventory ONLINE and found a 2014 F-350 listed in their inventory....called the salesperson. Found out the 2014 was out front with the NEW cars which is why we didn't see it on the used lot. Went back the next day...drove the 2014 F-350 but settled on the 2015 F-350 instead since the price wasn't much higher. In the end....didn't get the color or the truck we really wanted. The LACK of inventory was shocking. But, nice truck...and overall generally good service.
