Dealership Sales Review
So, let's just say I went to the competition first. I knew exactly when they caught my scent on the lot because a hoard of salesmen descended on me like a swarm of mosquitos. I barely escaped, actually finding a few hastily flung business cards in my truck bed later. Then I decided to return to Chevrolet of Wasilla, where I was treated like a person, rather than a piece of meat, previously. Pretty neat. I walked in and was simply greeted by a nice guy who asked nothing more than how my day was going. "This is cool," I thought. "I'm deep in the den and they haven't noticed me yet." I proceeded to look about the several demo cars on the sales floor, and the same gentleman came up and asked if he could help me. I told him I was just tire-kicking, but would like to give the salesman I had for my 2014 purchase a crack at me, if was still employed there. Wow, this guy very nicely said 'no problem,' and brought me to my guy. This showed me two things about Chevrolet of Wasilla: 1. Their team has class, and 2. They attract and retain good hires. I like doing business with people who have the same respect for their employees as they do for their clients. Nobody's perfect, but it seemed to me that Chevrolet of Wasilla was a cut above. So, instead of cruising more lots, I stayed where I was and drove off later with a 2016 Silverado. I suppose you can't use names here, but let me say that my sales guy is top notch. I had more fun buying that truck than I had doing anything all week :)
