Dealership Sales Review
sales Rating
Felt unwelcome

onMy wife and I stopped by to look at several used models. Our first visit was quite pleasant and the salesman courteous and helpful. However, when we stopped by later that day another salesman was not so kind.
I should caveat that it was apparent to me that this guy was not "up" next in the salesman department, in fact I don't even know if he was working the floor. I was in the lot and I saw my wife grab the closest employee. There was another gentelman who had been loosely shadowing us and I could see he was trying to get to my wife right before she grabbed this other guy. He was probably the one that was supposed to help us.
Anyway, the guy she grabbed did not seem enthused about helping us. Now mind you, we didn't look like BMW clientele. My wife was wearing sweatpants, no makeup, etc and I was in similiar condition, we drove up in our 10 year old Caravan and our two boys were acting like foster kids.
But we are not what we appear and can easily buy one of their vehicles.
Back to the subject. He was very curt and when my wife asked about the price on an X3 and whether the price is negotiable, he flatly said "No". A non-negotiable car price? And he was quite clear. Not even a, "come on in and let's see what we can work". You know, maybe they could of got us in higher financing rates, worth a try isn't it. I could tell this guy just wanted us gone.
And because of that experience, I seriously doubt we will ever go back.
I checked that I would recommend the dealership since this may be an isolated incident and not worthy of hammering them for. But maybe the leadership there needs to remind EVERYONE to treat potential customers with dignity and respect.
