- Highway Assistant, which, when in operation, functions as hands-off driving up to 85 mph on limited access highways (operation of the vehicle intended to remain the driver's responsibility)
- Parking Assistant Professional, which, when engaged, surveys the size of available nearby parking spaces to determine which ones are of adequate size for the iX. When a space of adequate size is found by Parking Assistant Professional and selected by the driver, this feature will provide all necessary steering inputs, gear changes, braking and acceleration applications needed to maneuver the vehicle into that space
- Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, which, when engaged, operates as normal cruise control until it senses a slower moving vehicle directly ahead. At that time, the cruise control matches the speed of the iX to that of the slower moving vehicle, maintaining a driver selected, pre-set distance between the two vehicles. The Stop & Go function will bring the iX to a complete stop if the vehicle ahead stops. Once there's no longer any nearby slower moving traffic ahead, the cruise control resumes initial speed set by the driver, continuing to use the pre-set selections initially made by the driver.

It also activates automatically, when the Anti-Theft Recorder is triggered. When the vehicle's anti-theft alarm activates, the owner is alerted via smartphone. They can then remotely take and save pictures of the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
