Where on the Internet can I purchase parts (i.e. suspension, mechanical) for a 2002 Q45? I don't want to buy directly from the Infiniti dealer because they're way too expensive. I just want to buy them and take the car to an independent mechanic. Thanks.

My independent mechanic has no trouble getting parts...The Infiniti dealers can provide them without a problem. As to a Nissan equivalent, the top of their line is the Maxima. I don't really know, but my guess is they don't share a lot of parts. Again, I don't believe Infiniti will stop providing parts. For example, they use less outside suppliers that other car co's. and accept lower failure rates on components. I won't buy a Lexus, because I've never driven one whose performance I liked, but that's just me. So my guess is you won't get quite the reliability from the Q, but you get ... Read More

  • Q45 pricing (matt00)

Written by: dbruland on Feb 16, 2002 7:28:37 AM

To your point of possible incentives on 2002 Q45's, International Infiniti in Milwaukee is advertising ALL new Infinitis at "invoice or below" through end of February. I know the G20's can be had below invoice, but the invoice pricing sounds very attractive on the other models.

  • Re: Incentive in 2002 Q45

Written by: markhampton on Feb 14, 2002 3:06:05 PM

It looks like Infiniti is subsididizing its lease deals through the end of February. On their web site, they show: http://www.infiniti.com/acquire/NationalOffersDetail/0,1230,22437,00.html MSRP $51,045 (with no discount) 39 months 12k miles/year $2,107 Cap reduction (plus $1,l00 in fees/deposit and first months payment, for a total of $3,956) $699/month Using those figures, the 39 month residual on this car is 57% and the money factor is .00245 (~5.9%). Not too shabby really.
