Re: 2004 Crossfire - Turns Off While Driving [laurawesty]

It sounds like you need to go straight to the top on this with Chrysler. Don't settle until you know something as to what could be wrong. If after it's repaired and it happens again, get rid of this car. There is some sort of computer glitch to this and you don't need to be driving a car with the potential of harming you and the occupants inside. Good luck!

Chrysler announced yesterday that they have issued a Recall E-19 Radiator Cooling Fan Module for some Crossfires. This is for cars built between March 1 2004 and Sept. 14, 2005. Not all cars are effected in this run and they will be mailing out letters within one week. This is just a heads up for the members here. Call your Dealer and give them your VIN# and they can check it ... Read More

Re: Are Crossfires being discontinued? [crossfireman]

At a website entitled Crossfirecommunity.net someone posted a message (http://www.crossfirecommunity.net/default.aspx?tabid=142&g=posts&t=476) that discussed it. I also know that you cannot build and order your own SRT-6 on the Chrysler website. Maybe it is only the SRT-6? On the other hand I have seen a press release by Chrysler posted on another website that talks about the Crossfire and small modifications to the windshield trim for the 2006 model. I just signed papers ... Read More

I have and 2004 Chrysler Crossfire,my problem is, when applying the brakes the auto will miss, stall, surg. It will continue to do this for about seven or eight seconds, then slowley recover. If I take it out of gear, it will recover quicker. The dealership tech's have no answer, and wish that I would go away, Chrysler has turned a deaf ear.It does not do this at every stop, just periodically.Does anyone have and ... Read More

I purchased a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in May of this year. Within 24 hours I had to return the car to the dealer for a check engine light, turns out that it was a faulty fuel sensor. The company fixed it and was fine. About a week later I had custom rims put on the car and two weeks after that, the car started squealing like the brakes needed changed, with ... Read More

2004 Crossfire
Written by: lvly324 on May 9, 2004 11:02:07 AM
I just leased a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire. It looks really nice and drives pretty well. However, I am a little disappointed in the materials used in this car. Starting off with the console, plastic isn't the way to go when you are driving a car that looks that impressive on the outside. The inside should be as equally as impressive. Also the lower speaker on the door should be located elsewhere ... Read More

just when I made a great deal on Wednesday, two days later Chrysler comes up with a new deal! On the Chrysler website today -- (manual) 2004 Crossfire @ $299/month lease and down payment of $2,298 (+ license + tax + 1st month's payment). My down payment was about $700 less because it included these additional costs. And mine is automatic, which will probably be $15-$20 more per month on the ... Read More

New deal?

I saw at my local Chrysler dealer they are having a leasing deal for a Crossfire at 317 for 39 months. I don't know how much down yet. I didn't go and talk to them since I am not in a market for a car until my 2001 Mustang comes off the lease in Aug 2004. Heck, by then I might be able to get a left over for cheaper. Frans ... For your information, the Chrysler Pacifica is far from a being a bomb. As a matter of fact, the Chrysler Pacifica, at almost 8,000 units a month, out sells every crossover in its price range other than Highlander and Pilot which sell 10,000 and 9,000 units a month. The Chrysler Pacifica has just had it seventh consecutive sales increase. The Chrysler Crossfire was never meant to be a giant success. Chrysler ... Read More

There's nothing "very quiet" about what engine will be in the Crossfire. The only supercharged version will likely be an upscale model (think AMG). The following is copied directly from Chrysler's website. I don't know how much louder they can make it. http://www.chrysler.com/chrysler_lifestyle/news_features/index.ht- ml# The 2004 Chrysler Crossfire is a low-slung, two seat sports coupe with a sculptured appearance. Under its hood is a 3.2-liter 90-degree V-6, 18-valve SOHC engine available ... Read More

Chrysler and Celine Dion

Thank you for your email regarding Chrysler's association with Celine Dion. Chrysler has teamed up with Celine Dion because we feel she portrays a wholesome attitude and image and embodies the family values that Chrysler tries to promote. ... Read More
