Used TMV from $13,513
The Aspen is based on the Dodge Durango which has been around a long time. The powertrains are used in other Chrysler/Dodge models. I don't think you'll have a problem getting parts for it. Having said all that, I suggest that you buy one with the original manufacturer's warranty because these vehicles have a lot of electronics which can be expensive to fix without a warranty. Good luck.
So I have a question, I am looking at used suv's. Preferably the 08's. The Aspen is at the top of my list, but is that a good thing considering Chrysler is halting production on it? Its really between the Aspen, and an Explorer limited. I like the Aspen more, but I am planning on having it for many years to come. Thanks for the help.
I live in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and spend many hours on the roads and freeways. I leased a 2007 Chrysler Aspen with the 5.7 Hemi one year ago for a three (3) year period. I am satisfied with the performance other than the 13 mpg figure. Since then I have seen exactly five (5) other Aspens throughout the area. Other than terrible gas mileage, is there a clue in ... Hi! I just got an essentially brand new 2007 Aspen from Orange County Jeep in Costa Mesa CA. I live in Oregon, and saw their demo (21 miles) when we were down there in February. I took it for a long test drive and thought about it. It was fully equipped with essentially everything you can imagine - 120v inverter, heated second row seats, second row console, towing package, entertainment system, ... Read More
With all the talk of hybrids and auto-makers ongoing commitments to creating eco-friendly vehicles, Chrysler is proud to introduce to you their first volume production hybrid; the 2009 Chrysler Aspen Hybrid. The Chrysler Aspen Hybrid, available this fall, utilizes the most technologically advanced two-mode hybrid and marks the first of Chrysler’s efforts at providing fuel efficient vehicle technology. So what does this mean for you? This hybrid technology coupled with the ... Read More
I have a 2007 Aspen 2 weeks old and 420 miles on it and yesterday it cut off in the middle of the road failing to restart . I tried to do a vehicle systems check with no success the lights and radio worked .The ring around the D in drive disappeared . This is my first Chrysler product and last when you spend 40,000 plus you don't expect it break ... Read More
I just purchased one nice vehicle my only compliant is the back end jumps around over some bumps . The mileage isn't bad at all if you keep the R P Ms around two grand 20-22 mpg highway can be achieved . If you like the rumble of the exhaust and the sound of the HEMI you will have no problem getting single digit gas mileage.
Am looking at the same rig for my wife. What was the msrp on your rig? The one we are looking at is $45,326. Can you tell me where you got it, and as much as I hate to ask, what kind of deal did you get?? Thanks p.s. how's the gas mileage with the mds hemi???
Greetings csluke. Here's the info that you're looking for. Chrysler Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 2007 Chrysler Aspen Base AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00177 and 42%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00186 and 41%. I had to make an assumption about the trim level that you are interested in since you never mentioned what it ... Read More
Hey brunoblake. I can give you an idea of what this truck's current lease program is like. Its lease program varies by trim level, term, and mileage allowance so for now I am going to have to make some assumptions. I will assume that you are interested in leasing a 2007 Chrysler Aspen Limited 4WD through Chrysler Financial right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year. The buy rate ... Read More
I just ordered a fully loaded Aspen today from my local dealer. I researched the heck out of all suvs for 3 solid months. On lux side, I've owned a Landcruiser, Porsche, tricked out Z71 suburban, and some very nice VWs. I've researched like crazy; considered the following: Acura MDX (not crazy about new body style) Mercedes Benz G320CDI (nice but just too darn expensive. I could buy one, but I ... Read More
We researched several SUV's with certain options that we were looking for and we bought a FULLY loaded Aspen that we are very happy with. The ride and interior are plush, the 8 speaker Alpine system with subwoofer and 368 watt amp is powerful and crystal clear. We have the remote start, DVD Nav, Video entertainment, 20 inch chrome wheels, power liftgate, sunroof, towing package, etc. There was no other SUV ... Read More
Just bought a 2007 Aspen limited 4WD, fairly well equiped for 31K. The dealership was Folsom lake chrysler. Good at making deals, but bad at everything else. There was a dealer trade involved and three times they told me the vehicle was on the way and when I was ready to buy, they always had a but that was never communicated to me until the time we were to make the ... Hi sasuke. DaimlerChrysler's lease program for the 2007 Chrysler Aspen changed a little from December, but it is still pretty close to what was available last month. This truck's lease program isn't bad. DCX is providing very low lease money factors on it. Its residual values aren't going to get any better. I suppose that DCX might increase its lease cash on it some from the $1,000 level that it is ... Read More
Here you go, nikolaya. Chrysler Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2007 Chrysler Aspen Limited 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00030 and 53%, respectively. When negotiating your deal on this truck, make sure to take the $1,000 lease cash that is currently available on it into account. It will help you to negotiate an attractive capitalized cost. What is EC and EPP? I would get the Durango instead of the Aspen. I just purchased a 2007 Durango Limited AWD and it looks so much better on the outside. Andrew
Read the Aspen first drive and then post your comments here. First Drive: 2007 Chrysler Aspen
I saw an ad in the paper today for a local Chrysler-Jeep dealer that advertised "Come See the All New 2007 Aspen Today". I wonder how long it will take for 0% APR for 72 months to appear on the Aspen, especially considering the recent significant drop in large SUV sales.
http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/01/10/detroit-2006-2007-chrysler-aspen/ Sorry rcf8000, it's got a column mounted shifter - and even worse the Durango interior. I don't find the interior to be as good as stylish as the Navigator, Escalade, or LX470. Come on Chrysler what were you thinking? Well...at least the exterior styling is nice.
