I have a 645 with I also purchased in June 2004. I have been having discussions with the dealer about this bluetooth for months. I just got the final work on this, the dealer is telling me that 645's produced before March of 2003 are not equipped with the module for bluetooth. I just did a search on used BMW 6, there are some excellent condition 2004 cars with just 200 miles going for as low as 15k in my area. Some for 30k. What's the catch? To good to be true...

Please discuss European Delivery with your dealership if you are interested - I would recommend it to anyone (a couple of good reasons being the 7% price reduction and the ability to drive your new car on the best roads in the world with no speed limit). I took delivery of my Stratus Grey/Black 645 2 weeks ago. Early impressions - overall body finish? 9.5/10 (almost Lexus-like, near perfect mica-metallic paintwork and panel shutlines, after 3 hand washes I cannot fault the interior or exterior fit and finish). I am 53 years old and fly a Baron B58, are not an academic and can't cope when there's a problem with my computor and like to keep things simple ... Read More

Bangles has given BMW a long term future in his contemporary designs, aka 5, 6 and 7 series. The finished product for the upcoming 3 series sedan and 4 series coupe/convertible will be along the same lines. i have decided to replace my wife's '99 ML320 with either a new 2004 MB S430 or 2004 BMW 645Ci (decided to drop the Cayenne S) do you have go to to your local dealership to go on the waiting list? knowing how popular this car is going to be, i would think so (recalling the '98 ML320 wait; 9 months!).

According to my local dealer, the 645ci will be priced at $60k to $75k. This car is available now in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for $75,170.00. The original 6 series was slotted between the 5 series sedans and the 7 series sedans in price. They were based on the five series just as this one will be. Other rumors suggest BMW has put the M6 idea on hold, since they're strapped for resources with all of the other models coming out in the near future.
