TORRANCE, California — A 2012 Toyota "Ultimate Fishing" Tundra designed to appeal to anglers is bound for the 2012 SEMA Show.
The one-of-a-kind truck will have a bed-area tackle storage system "that looks like a Bass Pro shop aisle," said Toyota in a statement. Access to the bed is gained by an automatic, motorized delivery system.
The truck will feature tackle, reels, rods and a refrigerator.
Toyota has not yet taken the wraps off the truck. It will make its public debut on October 30.
The truck is spun off the 2012 Tundra CrewMax. It gets a custom roof rack with special LED lighting and a unique grille. It also is equipped with a TRD Big Brake Kit and a 12-inch suspension lift, as well as a TRD supercharger and exhaust system.
The cabin gets custom panels that house video monitors to "play fishing videos."
The truck is a collaboration between Toyota and Bassmaster Elite Series pro angler Britt Myers.
Edmunds says: A dream vehicle for anglers.
