The Subaru WRX Concept gets a carbon-fiber roof to help cut weight. The concept is lower and wider than the 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX. The concept rides on a 108.7-inch wheelbase versus a 103.3-inch wheelbase on the 2013 Impreza WRX. The concept is 74.4 inches wide, compared to 70.7 inches on the 2013 Impreza WRX.
A larger grille and new "hawk-eye" headlights are featured on the WRX Concept. It also gets a curved trunk lid that acts as a rear spoiler. The concept displays a new paint color, WR Blue Pearl III, which is said to "modernize" the WRX look. Fluorescent Yellow is an accent color on the WRX badge on the front grille, brake calipers and exhaust tip finishers.
Edmunds says: Subaru turns its attention back to the WRX, following the successful launch of the Subaru BRZ last year.
