After several strong shows earlier in the year, the 2011 New York Auto Show is aiming to wrap things up with a solid season finale. There will be several world premieres along with a dozen or so North American firsts straight from the Geneva show in early March.
One guaranteed newsmaker is the world premiere of the Lexus LF-Gh. Although Lexus is calling it a concept for now, this is undoubtedly an early look at the next-generation Lexus GS sedan.
Also on tap for New York is the world premiere of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe. With a healthy 451 horsepower on tap, the new two-door should be a welcome addition to Mercedes' new lineup of small coupes.
Additional but unconfirmed debuts include the 2012 Subaru Impreza and the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Also look for the U.S. version of the Audi A7 along with the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale and Porsche Panamera Hybrid.
Full coverage of the 2011 New York Auto Show begins April 19 with news, photos, and blog posts direct from the show floor.
