OLD LYME, Connecticut — Callaway Cars plans to show off its stable of modified cars and trucks at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, as part of the celebration of the first Callaway Corvette.
In commemoration of this, Callaway will display its limited production 2012 25th Anniversary Corvette SC620. Other vehicles included in the exhibit will be a 2013 Corvette SC652, Silverado SC540 and a Tahoe SC450.
The tuner is introducing its Corvette GSR, GSRR and GT3 at the show as well — racecars based on machines campaigned by the independent racing arm of the company. Founder Reeves Callaway also plans to debut the California Resident Purchase Program that makes it easier for California residents to own a Callaway vehicle.
Edmunds says: Since Corvette fans must wait until January for the unveiling of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, the Callaway fleet at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show might give them a temporary fix.
