GENEVA — The Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV, a sport-utility truck that uses a diesel-hybrid system, and the Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV, a next-generation EV with a range of 186 miles, will debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show.
The Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV is "deemed best suited to the heavy-duty daily requirements of pickup truck users," said the Japanese automaker in a statement. The concept features a next-generation four-wheel-drive system and Super All Wheel Control, a vehicle dynamics control system that provides traction in all road conditions.
Mitsubishi describes the sport-utility truck as "chunky, rugged and handsome."
It did not release powertrain details or launch plans.
The Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV is said to accommodate "next-generation EV systems and high-density batteries."
"Further innovative real-life features include magnetic resonance wireless charging technology, smartphone activated functions," said Mitsubishi.
Technical specifications and launch plans on the CA-MiEV were not disclosed.
