GENEVA — The face-lifted 2014 Volvo S80 and XC70 will debut at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show. Volvo said the redesign is intended to bring "the models visually closer to each other."

Pricing and launch timing were not announced.

The 2014 Volvo S80 sedan gets new front and rear bumpers, rectangular daytime running lights and optional 19-inch wheels. The S80 also gets more upholstery options in the cabin.

The 2014 Volvo XC70 gets an updated front grille, skid plates and redesigned taillights.

Connectivity is a major part of the upgrade with the S80 and XC70. Volvo is debuting Sensus Connected Touch, which provides full Internet browsing except when driving, Internet radio, a Free Parking locator, weather information and other amenities. Volvo said it is also possible to share a WiFi network with everyone in the car.

Other details on the 2014 S80 and XC70 include new ambient lighting in the cabin and an optional heated steering wheel.

The Volvo XC70 targets the BMW X3 and Lincoln MKX, while the Volvo S80 targets the Audi A6 and Lincoln MKS.

Edmunds says: Volvo brings some excitement to the 2013 Geneva Auto Show by tweaking two of its key products.
