1992 Mercury Sable
This car at 72000 miles has a knock and
Ford tells me it needs a new engine.
This is in spite of conservative
driving and regular oil changes as
required. Every other car I've had has
exceeded 100,000 miles and 10 years.
This is after having the head gasket
blow at 52,000 miles (Same story as
Jim22) and Ford refused to give any
coverage under warranty. I will never …
buy another Ford. Very disappointed
and angry at such irresponsible action
