1992 Mercury Sable
I bought the car in 2011 with 37,000 miles on it. It was easy to maintain, reliable and comfortable. I had to change starter twice (the aftermarket ones turned out to not be very reliable), struts in the front, radiator, brake lines for the rear brakes I believe. Considering I bought it for $1600, it was 20 years old, and all these repairs didn't cost much, it was a great first car. … Other than that - regular oil changes and brake pads. I sold it with 100,000 to an older man, who owned one like this before and new how to take care of it.
