We work with several partners, including major national brands such as CarMax, EchoPark, AutoNation, Peddle, and CashForCars.com, as well as select local dealerships in your area. Each offer provider will review the information you provide on Edmunds to generate an offer for your car.
Each offer provider individually assesses your location and vehicle condition using its own criteria to determine whether it desires to purchase your vehicle. Because of this, not all of our offer providers will make offers on every car. We'll show you the top three offers we find so that you can compare prices and decide which offer is best for you.
Expiration dates vary from offer provider to provider so we encourage you to check the expiration date for each offer. Generally, most offers are good for up to seven days, but some offers may have expiration windows that are shorter or longer than that. Keep in mind that if the mileage on your car changes (by 250 miles or more) or your vehicle condition changes, then you may need to request a new offer to get an accurate price.
No, you can sell your car to any of our offer providers without buying another car from them.
Yes! As long as the information provided online is accurate, then you will receive the online offer amount shown on Edmunds.
The offer provider you choose to sell with will verify that all of the information provided online is accurate. As long as that is the case, you will receive the exact amount of your online offer.
Payment varies depending on who you sell your car to. We recommend checking your offer details to find out the form of payment you will receive.
No, however there is nothing that limits your ability to negotiate directly with our partners if you choose to.
