Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Spokane

Purchased a used vehicle and was in daily contact with salesman. Even so, the car was not ready or cleaned at the time we had agreed I would pick it up. The salesman made a mistake and confused the day of pickup. Then he forgot to attach the temporary license which put me in legal danger. I had to make a special trip back to the dealership to pick up the temporary tag. When I asked for some sort of recompense for the inconvenience and danger their mistakes had caused me, I was offered "candy for the kids" or "girl scout cookies." I asked if it was Lithia's policy to make customers pay for their mistakes and was told that everyone's time is valuable and "if I had to give something to everyone who waited longer that expected for a detail we wouldn't make any money." I understand that mistakes happen but I don't expect to have to pay for the mistakes of others. It's really unfortunate when a company with such a good reputation employs people who fail to live up to their high standards.
