Toyota of Kirkland

I took my car in for a $100 000 mile checkup at Toyota, Kirkland. They said that my Toyota's radiator was leaking, and I needed also a rattle repair. I drove my car to the checkup and it was fine. When I drove out of Toyota service, there was a very loud rattling noise coming from under my car; a bolt was missing. I always go to Toyota Kirkland for service because I trusted them. However, their bad customer service, the new loud noise, and hideous estimations took me by surprise. Toyota estimated my Rattle repair cost: $995.00 and the leaking radiator repair was $2000. I have had a radiator problem before with another car, so I knew that this estimation was nowhere reasonable. The rattle repair is a minor issue, even if it has rust, which was at Toyota, Kirkland, hideously overcharged. However, I did not know any Toyota repair shops in my area, therefore my friend called his auto shop for advice. They recommended ZahnTech Automotive Service, Redmond, WA. The personnel there is very nice to talk to and the customer service is beyond 5 stars. I explained that I needed an inspection for my Toyota; they offered to help me immediately. They assessed the same issues as Toyota Kirkland, my car was repaired in a day, and the final invoice was significantly less than Toyota's estimation. I can't thank enough ZhanTech Automotive Service, a great and honest repair shop. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with his/her car. T. Rosen
