Evergreen Chevrolet
Dealership Service Review
Took car in for what looked like a very easy fix. Sticking shift lever lock button. Figured either broken spring or something spilt in it that's causing it to not slide freely. They told me it needed an entire control module replaced. Total estimate $600! Took car home, searched on Youtube and found a video describing same problem and how to fix for $9 and 15 minutes. You can't make this stuff up. That's either really bad diagnosing, or completely dishonest, both of which are really bad. BTW, they charged me $80 for the "diagnosis" after I told them I would try to fix it myself. I paid more for them to tell me incorrectly how to fix it than it cost me to actually fix it! Who are the people who give this place 5 stars?? really,. are you all just family and friends or is it the manager filling out good ratings on their own shop?
