It is never a good sign when your sales associate, who has been employed there for over a year, is genuinely bewildered by my request for a pre-purchase inspection. There were a couple of issues with the car that he promised to get checked out but never did. My guess is that there are issues that a pre-purchase inspection would have discovered and they would have a better chance selling this to an unsuspecting buyer. The vehicle had remaining factory warranty and I still would not buy from these scammers. If they were interested in an honest sale they would have followed through on their promises. I am a bit disappointed to not get that used vehicle but I'm rather sure I would end up regretting it. If you find that Koons is your only option, be sure that you accept 100% responsibility for everything involving the vehicle once you pay.
