Dulles Kia
Dealership Sales Review
I purchased a KIA Soul on Sep 29th. The dealership asked me to pay more $2K~2.5K as a "maintenance & reconditioning" cost. They said they performed such service to make the car have the "quality standard of a new car." Since it was my first time to buy a car and they sell certified preowned cars, I trusted them and believed them. For the long story short, I got my car inspected by an independent inspection shop. There many things to get replaced or fixed, but the thickness of brake pedals is not the "quality standard of a new car" as they promised. The rear brake pedals at 3/32 inches while new brake pedals are 1/2 inches. I wonder why KIA brand management team allows such practice. Because they told me that this car has the quality standard of a new car, I thought that all KIA cars are like this - noise some brakes and vibration during driving. This dealership misrepresents the brand image of KIA.
