Purchased a CPO Optima Hybrid from Ahmad at Steven KIA in February 2014. Traveled from Fort Lee to Harrisonburg to make this purchase based on Ahmad’s service before the sale including sending me "un-enhanced" pictures and verifying what service was done to prepare the vehicle for sale. Ahmad ensured the vehicle was fully serviced, detailed and ready for my test drive. Extra kudos for him turning on the heat, heated seats and heated steering wheel—made for a very warm welcome! Steven KIA is a small dealership with few staff members despite the volume they sell. I would have appreciated reviewing the numbers of my deal (trade, specifically) before sitting down with the finance manager and having my credit pulled. I expressed to Ahmad that I wanted to complete this step first but that didn’t happen. In the end, I got the deal I was looking for, so no harm no foul. Had I not purchased the car due to unfavorable terms/ trade in, etc. I would have an unwanted inquiry on my credit report. After the numbers were worked out—and we both compromised (them more than me)—the rest of the process was painless. Dealer offered additional services but was not pushy. Ahmad spent time with me to explain the various features and pair my phone/ set up my navigation system but vehicle was only delivered with half a tank of gas. Based on Ahmad/ Dealer’s excellent customer service, quality of product and lower-than-usual processing fee, Steven KIA will be at the top of my list for future KIA purchases and services.
