Dealership Sales Review
I drove 2 hours, while sick, after speaking to this dealerships finance mgr. before I left my home. I explained to him that I didn't want to waste their time as well as mine and that before making the long trip, I'd like to see if they could please first see if they could possibly get me financed before taking such a long drive, while being sick. I explained my situation of not being approved from other places, no down payment and low credit score, because of trying to help my son when he took care of me after a coma. While talking to the finance mgr., I explained to him, that, I knew why at this time I was not able to get anything new or used, from other dealerships, I was basically told to make the long drive and that because of where they were located(Harrisonburg, Va. located around 3 college campuses) and that their dealerships were needing used vehicles and I was told to make the drive, believing that they could help me get something new or used. was asked to do an app. but that it'd be best to make the drive and do the finance app. in front of them with the anticipation of needing questions to be answered, from both sides and for me to not worry and that basically they were different and the drive would be worth it. So I thought that I truly was being told that they cared and would do anything to help me. I took the 2 hour drive, after talking to them that I was trying to find a little truck (Colorado), or anything with a tow hitch. When I arrived there, I never even met the finance mgr. as I believed I would, I was being shown new vehicles and their push was to get me into something new by trading my car. Whenever I even asked about used, a used gray Colorado or used red Tacoma, that I saw on their lot, I was told No. I explained that by trying to get either one, I would just keep my car, if they could help me just do that. Anything that was used that I asked about, I then felt like they're not listening to anything I asked about, because I needed something with rebates to get out of my car. I again said that no, I'd like to please see if they help, without my trade, but that I'd like to get in two used trucks which I really liked, after being told no again by the salesman, I knew it was a wasted trip by then. I never met the finance mgr. and found out this morning a day after, that the person whom I thought was the finance mgr. was their sales mgr. I asked this place again this morning to please see if they could get me into the Colorado or Tacoma with no money down I was told on the phone by their sales mgr. this morning, he'd try to see and would call me back by their close of business. I called their place back again, this morning, and was transferred to the sales person instead of the sales mgr. I asked for and again, felt a cold shoulder from them. Guess I should've gotten what I was told, before I left the house, in writing plus ask for gas money as well no matter if they could help me or not. I'm still waiting for a call, that I'm sure I'll never get. Please, go with your gut, DO NOT, make a long journey to this dealership, especially after believing, over the phone, that they did care. I believed truly that they could help anyone, no matter their situation and you're told basically to pay no mind of what other dealerships have said, but to take the drive, because you truly believed they were different and did care.
