Dealership Sales Review
Let me start off saying I give Prestman Auto 100% rating and I will tell you why so bare with me. I was looking to trade my current Lexus in for a newer model and Year. I happen to stumble across Prestman Auto by accident. The first thing that caught my attention was the prices of their vehicles. I thoguht "this has to be a scam no way vehicles are this cheap ". Then I saw the salvage vehicle part on their site as I'm sure most do. When most see that they go straight to google and research which I did . Google and social media had so many pros and cons hell I even called my insurance company to have them brake this down to me. Never the less I took a chance even after all the information I found and read up on and said "hell let's see what it is about". Mind you I leave 6 hours away from their location. So I looked at Prestman Auto inventory to see if there was something I would even consider entertaining looking at. Well there was 😁 so I took the next step doesn't hurt to call and validate that the prices I was seeing was legit. Travis Cheesman answered the call, mind you this was on a Monday. We talked I asked him a bunch of questions and he was very knowledgeable,and professional about how and why they sale salvage vehicles. So I let Travis know I wanted to trade my vehicle in and get the vehicle I was eyeing in there inventory. I told Travis exactly what I wanted and needed as far as payments and what I could and couldn't afford. Travis made it his top priority even on his day off to give me information and validate my budget and needs. At this point I'm thinking this is to good to be true and the reality that I live 6 hours away how is this going to work ? I secured loan and reliable data from Travis just thru simple texting and a few phone calls here and there to validate some info. Not once did I feel pressured or ignored. He made me feel as if I was a local knowing I was out of state. Sealing the deal mind you this process started Monday. Wednesday we talked numbers and got a sight picture on what things would be and wouldn't be financially. I told Travis upfront what I could afford . He was very transparent on what he could and couldn't do! Unlike most salesmen or woman they will shoot you bs!!! He was very upfront and honest. Told Travis I wanted to finance thru them and just that simple he said ok let me work it. A day later as he promised I had numbers and a estimate of what my payments would look like. 100 % financing and their finance department was amazing. Sealing the deal Thursday morning Travis reaches out to me to confirm and finalize a few things as far as purchase of the vehicle I was looking at. He was very realistic about what I would get for my trade in and I was ok with that being a little upside down which you have to except when your dealing with a car that is 8 year old and almost pushing 100,000 miles. I had a few questions as far as payments and fees and he was very transparent with that so I had an idea what the fees would be before we locked things in. Which I understand when your running a business fees and such come with the nature of the beast. Thursday evening Travis and I spoke again to confirm everything. Told him I will drive up from Las Vegas Friday morning and we will move on a purchase. With that said I was confident in the car I was about to buy and the customer services Travis had provided me prior to me even meeting him I provide a 500 dollar deposit to hold the vehicle I was looking to buy and told him I will see him Friday. Closing the deal I departed Las Vegas early Friday morning to get into Salt Lake fairly early. Once I arrived to Prestman Auto I was greeted with welcoming hellos, and do you need anything and have you been helped? The Staff hands down made me feel like I was suppose to be there and welcomed. Even thou I was working with Travis they didn't once hesitate to ask if I need anything. Me and Travis talked numbers one more time he we pretty spot on when it came to what they was going to give me for my trade in. Then we went over to their finance section and finalized everything. He was so organized and made sure I was taken care of meaning making sure I had the right coverage, and warranty. There was no hidden agenda what you saw is what you got. Being Travis and I had been talking about numbers all week that process took no joke 15 mins. I was plugged into the terms and payments that I could afford. I have to give it to him that was the quickest and fastest I had ever been dealt with when it comes to numbers for a vehicle. The bank that I ended up getting my loan thru was a breath of fresh air very professional and easy going. No poking or judging just got down to the matter at hand and handled business. The sale I was able to see and drive the vehicle I was looking to buy. I was able to take as much time as I needed to look it over, driver it, and inspect it before I did anything else. Not to many dealers will allow you those freedoms it's pretty much "car as is take it or leave it". There was no pressure and they even asked me is there anything else I would like to drive or look at. That was a shook to me because most times you go to dealership and they try to lock you into one car and one car only. I knew I wanted this car so I passed on driving other cars. After I drove and checked the vehicle out everything checked out. I came back to the dealer told Travis I wanted this one he said "ok" and took care of the rest told me to have a seat make your self at home and I will be right back. I got to the dealer around 945 and was out the door with my car a hour later. Overall the best experience I had buying a car ever! The car had no issues I finalized everything and drove my new car half the price it would of cost me if I bought it from a Lexus dealer. I drove the car to its max back to Vegas and no issues thus far. Prestman Auto thank you so much for getting me into the car that I wanted at the price I could afford. I would recommend them to everyone. And will be buying future cars from them. Travis Cheesman is the man!
