Sykora Family Ford

Just got back from buying a new car. My wife and I went to Sykora Ford, in West Texas, for two reasons; first, because a friend of my wife has been buying his cars there for several years, and highly recommended them; and second, I wanted to avoid the high pressure sales people usually associated with auto dealers in a larger city. I’m probably not a typical auto buyer. I’ve been researching and comparing various cars for the past two years; and, had settled on a Ford Fusion Hybrid about a year ago. I’ve been waiting for my 1995 Town & Country to finally give up the ghost (I keep my cars till the wheels fall off). So when I arrived at Sykora, I was armed with a printout from the Edmund’s website containing a list of options and prices. My wife and I were ushered into Pauline B.’s office where we discussed what was available, costs, and delivery dates. As it turned out Sykora’s price was slightly less than Edmund’s ‘True Market Value’ price. There was no haggling and absolutely no pressure. This was, without a doubt, the most pleasant car buying experience I’ve ever experienced.
