World Car Mazda San Antonio
Dealership Sales Review
Less than five weeks after the purchase of our vehicle, the transmission went out. We were told by the repairing mechanic that the transmission had been patched with silicone to keep it running just long enough to sell it. By the time we realized this, the transmission was completely ruined. Obviously, you take chances that something will break on a used car, but you should not have to be responsible for parts that WERE BROKEN AT THE TIME OF SALE. World Car Kia refused to accept any responsibility for the underhanded fix, despite the fact the mechanic informed us the silicone was visible from the outside and should have been found during an inspection. This leaves only four possibilities: World Car did the cheap patch themselves, saw it but chose to do nothing about it, failed to see it, or never even inspected it in the first place. Regardless, they are completely unethical, unhelpful and thoroughly reprehensible.
