Principle Volvo Cars San Antonio
Dealership Sales Review
My experience at this dealership was dismal, old fashioned sales techniques and quite intrusive. I began my test drive with an email stating I would like to test this car in comparison to others I'm looking at. No response. Strike 1! I then arrived at the dealership on a slow Monday afternoon to test a C30 with a manual transmission. Non were available yet their site begged to differ. I went with it. The salesman, whom I shall leave nameless was a very nice guy but who rather seemed to know little of the product he was "selling". A little word to the sales manager: Product Knowledge is VERY important. Rather than ask me what features I wanted the salesman took me to the most expensive R model on the lot then of course asked me if I was trading in anything....of course not, I'm test driving. I did have to explain several times to the salesman that I am not purchasing yet til I drive all the cars on my list. We arrived back at the dealership, and of course I was asked to sit dowm...and here it comes...." what can I do to earn your business TODAY". At that point I already decided that my effortless and extremely pleasant test drive with Mini was glowing like mountain of diamonds next to this dealership who clearly could care less for what I wanted but more for what he wanted...a sale.
