Trophy Nissan
Dealership Sales Review
I have purchased 5 used cars from Trophy Nissan over the past 20 years and my recent experience was absolutely rediculous. My car was at another shop and I was in a rental, so I stopped by to see what they had to offer in the event I wanted to trade. They sat me in a room and asked me what kind of car I was interested in. I wasn't feeling great and just wanted to browse what they had. They don't do that. There are no sticker prices on the cars, nothing to browse. It's a hit and miss kind of system. I would suggest a type of car and they would go look for 30 minutes and come back with or without that model. This process was long and tiresome. I asked about a PT Cruiser and they had 2. I was about to test drive the second one and they said they just sold it. I went ahead and decided to buy the one I had driven. However, when they brought it to me to test drive the interior it was filthy! The spare tire was in the trunk and had to be put back underneath where it belonged. A few months ago I needed to tighten the nut and needed the jack and it was missing! I was really amazed that they would let someone test drive a vehicle someone might be considering for purchase when it hadn't even been cleaned yet. Which brings up the question of when did they do the 29 point inspection? The price haggling started for 3 more hours. I told them I didn't feel well and really wanted to hurry up the process and they just kept going. A few months later the air conditioner went out on it and I took it a Dodge dealership because I had purchased a warranty. They told me my car had been wrecked previously and had undercarriage damage AND was missing one of the splash guards. They could not repair the air conditioner because it had squished up some of the connections to get to the condensor. I finally got all the repairs done at the Trophy Collision dept and it has been back now 4 times.
