Dealership Sales Review
They don't deserve your business go elsewhere. You've been warned. After I had recieved a signed buyers order I wanted a pre inspection. The salesman recommended a business, but after some research of "bad reviews" mostly that that company didnt check anything just kicked the tires, I asked that the car be transported to Audi for a pre buyers inspection. They agreed as this would be at my expense. The price was right and any issues would not have been a problem because of the car fax just had to be sure. So I went ahead and signed the buyers order and sent to my credit union. My credit union reached out to their finance department and the buying process began. They dropped the car off on a Thursday and Audi let them know the vehicle would have to stay overnight. Everything was good. I'm excited. Keep in mind I'm 4 hours away buying a car sight unseen. I get a call the next day on Friday from Audi saying Wells Auto Group sent a third party inspector to attempt to inspect the vehicle while it was still in their shop. Audi said this was very unusual and I should caution these type of practices. The service manager said "they are attempting to sell the car from under you". I then call Wells Auto Group and I asked to speak with store manager to find out what was going on. And thats the straw that broke my back. Paul was very unprofessional, over talking and demeaning, threatening to hang up in my face multiple times and told me a signed buyers order or check from my credit union didnt mean anything. Cash or their financing takes precedence no matter how far along I was in purchasing the vehicle. I asked what would it take to hold the vehicle he said no amount of deposit can hold anything. Cash is king and if they have a potential cash buyer everyone else gets crapped on no matter if we've signed documents or not. With those words I called Audi and let them know I would no longer need the inspection although it had been completed. Audi of Dallas said they would never do business with Wells Auto Group again. I found a newer less mile Audi S8 with an immaculate service record on Carmax and saved myself the hassle. Carmax knows how to treat the customer. They have reasonable extended warranties and every penny that they made was well worth it. No matter how good a price is my respect won't be comprised.
