Russell & Smith Honda
Dealership Sales Review
I am a female over 50 yrs. of age. So, I have had quite a few experiences buying cars in my life time. However, with the internet and websites like edmunds.com, the car buying process has become easier. I knew the Honda model and color of the SUV I wanted but I discovered very few dealers had it in stock. During the shopping process, I came across salesmen at dealerships that I feel, attempted to take advantage of me being a female. One salesman had a different model in stock but told me it was the one I wanted with the hopes that if I test drove it, I might still settle. Others tried to convince me to choose a different model or color. But, Mr. Leber and Mr. Huddleston at Russell and Smith Honda, the internet salesmen, became my saviors. I completed a questionnaire while on a car website and Mr. Leber immediately responded with a drive-out price for the vehicle. No other salesman did this. The SUV I wanted was not in stock but a shipment with my choice was to arrive within 2-weeks. I wrote a check as a promise deposit to hold the SUV when it arrived to prevent it from being sold to anyone else. The SUV arrived when promised and the car buying process went very smoothly because Mr. Huddleston and Mr. Leber stuck to their original drive-out quotes. Their quotes were the lowest I had come across. There was no haggling and neither attempted to get me to purchase other add-ons. So, if anyone out there is interested in buying a Honda, please see Fred Leber and/or Ray Huddleston, the internet salemen at Russell and Smith Honda in Houston, Texas. They are the g-r-e-a-s-t-e-s-t!!!!!!!
