Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

I recently saw a Toyota Highlander that Mac Haik had for sale in Houston. I called on the vehicle and everything looked good. After talking to a few of the salemen, I asked what it would take to purchase the vehicle since I live 7 hours away. I told them I was going to buy it, but would have to get a flight out to get it. The sales person said if I put a deposit on it, they would hold it until I got there. I gave them my credit card number and said, let's do it. I then purchased airfare tickets. I indicated to them that it would be a couple days before I got there and they said fine, we'll pick you up at the airport. Everything looked good. Two mornings before I was to fly out I realized they had not put any charges against my credit card. I called and talked to the assistant manager who told me that they don't normally hold cars, but since I bought plane tickets he would assure me that they would set it aside for me. The next afternoon they call me tell me that they sold the car. They had raised the price $1000 and sold it, that way they would pay me back for my plane ticket and still make an extra $800. This dealer clearly knows nothing about treating it's customers right. If you agree to a deal, you stay with it, you don't raise the price to see what happens before it gets picked up.
