Gillman Subaru

They gave me a price on a car shown on their inventory website, and confirmed by email the afternoon before that the car was in fact available. The next morning, I drove more than an hour to the dealer to buy the car. Upon arrival, they said the car had been sold a week ago, but they could get me an identical car in a few days for an $1,300 above the price they had quoted. It seemed unlikely I wanted to do business with them, but I really wanted the car. They said I could think about it, and if I decided to take it I could call and give them a deposit over the phone, then pay the balance when I picked it up - BUT they would not provide any paperwork at all on what I was putting a deposit on, or when the car I was buying would be available. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with Gilman.
