AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway
Dealership Service Review
Ive been working with Champion Toyota for a little over 10 years now. I first came to them for parts for a Supra I started rebuilding just after I graduated from high school. That project became a dealership effort, and from that I have been able to get to know many of their technicians, sales (parts and cars) staff, and the service community. The service writers are kind, competent, and honest people. They do their best to help their customers on an exceptional level. We have worked together on everything from common repairs to custom performance modifications. Everytime I leave there, I am impressed. The technicians are exceptionally knowledgeable and resourceful, and I am quite happy to say that over the years many friendships have come out of these projects. It's rare to find a dealership where the technician will take time to talk and listen to you and then explain/show you the cause of the problems. Even more importantly, they know what they are explaining to you, instead of handing you their guesswork and calling it fixed. Over the years, I have probably learned as much from them as they have from me. I have always preferred to work on my own cars, but I had to give that up because of an injury. After the time I have spent with these guys, I can honestly say I trust them 100%, and they are the only place I go to have service and repairs performed on all 3 of my vehicles. This parts department is the only one I feel comfortable calling when I'm stranded out of state and in need of a hard to find part. They have helped me many times while I was traveling around the country. Their ability to get parts drop-shipped or overnighted to me is a great help. All in all, I am very impressed with the service and parts departments. They make an amazing team, and they have never let me down.
