AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway
Dealership Sales Review
I was replacing a '97 Camry that I bought new in Dec. 1996, and was not looking forward to the experience. I hate buying cars. Luis C. met me at the door, and I told him I did not like buying cars, would be purchasing a new Camry within 2 weeks from someone, wanted his best price going in (as I was not going to haggle), and that I was going to visit several dealers. Bottom line, best deal gets my money. Luis was respectful and knowledgeable, and said they don't haggle. I had done my research, knew what my target number was and knew what my old car was worth. They offered a good price for the old car and beat my target for the new car. Of course, he wanted to keep me from going elsewhere, but he never put any pressure on me nor was I uncomfortable. Before I left, I gave him one more chance to give me a better deal, telling him this is the last shot, if he has any wiggle room. He was able to come up on my trade-in. I left, went to lunch, then called Luis back, and gave him the chance to keep me from going anywhere else. He succeeded. Within three hours, I had driven the car, had lunch, and cut a deal on a new car. My last buying experience took a week. Can't say enough about my positive experience with Luis and with Auto Nation.
