AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway
Dealership Sales Review
After reserching between Consumer Reports and Edmunds.com, I had found the Rav4 at Champion Toyota (it was an Edmunds.com recommended dealership and a vetted dealership through Bank of America). After verifying all information about the vehicle, agreeing to the price, and preparing all the paperwork, all my wife had to do was to go in and drop off the paperwork and pickup the vehicle. On the next morning she went to pick it up, the Rav4 was taken to the shop and the $1,600.00 read DVD system was installed which we had not ordered. At that point, the sales person said he didn't know why it was done but it couldn't be un-installed but we could have the vehicle for the additional $1,600.00 fee. My wife left. They offered to find another vehicle but we went to another dealership and got the Rav4 we wanted.
