Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown
Dealership Service Review
Since 2008, I’ve been a loyal driver of Mercedes! Being military, I purchased my 1st vehicle at the Sindelfingen, Germany factory. When returning to the US in 2010, I became a customer at the Georgetown location, but this time my service was…..different. For starters, we discussed at drop off all of the discounts and options. There was a 10% off coupon or discount option, $50 off part A or B service, or a $100 military discount. Of course, I opted for the military discount. The price quoted was $480+. When I received my bill it was 580+ and indicated the military discount was included. I asked my service agent Jarrod Dozier, to explain, this was his response: MILITARY GETS 10% OFF UP TO 100.00 OFF. Much different from what was discussed. I paid my balance online but when I arrived at Mercedes to pick up my vehicle, the actual paperwork showed it was $524, not $581. I read before I sign, guess they weren’t counting on that! Jarrod couldn’t process my refund, the manager onsite, Daniel Reichart couldn’t process the refund. I was told it would be processed the next day (Saturday) and I’d receive a text through the same system we’d been communicating. Well, store has been opened since early this morning, it’s 130pm, no text. On top of this experience, I’ve always thought it was remarkable that when I pick up my vehicle, the seat is never adjusted, the radio is still the same, etc. This time, my seat was all the way back (I’m only 5’2”) so to me it was in the backseat! All of my Sirius stations had been deleted, and all of the computer warnings, etc were still there. It was like a complete wasted day, wasted and expensive service, and poorest customer care I had ever received at Mercedes.
