Dealership Service Review
I went in for a simple diagnostic and possible repairs. I had a battery draw that kept draining it.Where do i begin? Ok when i dropped off my vehicle i told the person who was handling my information by the name of Lynette to please disconnect the battery so there wont be any touble getting into it. She acted like it was no problem so i didnt worry about it. Im figuring this is mercedes they should be very professional right? Wrong. So after letting it sit for a coupleof days without disconnecting the battery i get a call saying that all of a sudden the key with which i drove my vehicle to the dealership with mysteriously no longer worked. I asked her if they let the battery die. Of course she lied and said no. She later accidentaly addmitted to me when we were arguing that she did which i called her on.I need a whole new key and my vehicle wasnt turning on because it was after market. She totally lied. They let the battery die. I asked if this will fix the problem she said more than likely so reluctantly i agreed to getting an oem key. After approval she calls meand says its ready. So then i ask her if i fixed the problem and she said shehad no idea and would call me back. She calls me back and says no it didnt fix it and that i needed to pay more money for diagnostics. I asked what did i pay for the first time and that i didnt want the key because she told me that would most likely fix the problem. And also i told her from the begining the key situation made absolutly no sense. I drove up there with it. We got in a pretty intense argument about the whole thing and that so much she said wasnt adding up. They said i had broken pieces in my intake manifold and quite a few other things that were not true. In the end after taking my vehicle to amother place and thats when i found outthe were flat out lying. All i needed was a new SAM. The way Lynette treated me and tried to make it seem like it was my fault somehow was very unappriciatted and i told her about herself. Im sure theres more to this that im forgetting but i just wanted to write this so people know how they opperate and the lies they tell customers. I was so dissappointed in mercedes. In the end since luckily i saw what they were doing they werent able to rip me off. Since they saw the obvious lie i was told i only ended up having to pay for the key blade and got the fob free and only purchased the SAM. I got only what i needed to be able to drive out of there as fast as i can! If youve gotten your vehicle repaired here before and make sure they didnt do you the way they tried to do me.im just glad i saw it. Steer clear of this place! And on top of everything that happened not one time when i went in there was i greeted or asked if i needed help. Just what i percieved as strange looks as if i was in the wrong place.
