This was honestly the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. I only went to the Hyundai dealership in Corpus Christi because other places said they were the only ones who could read the codes my car was throwing. I scheduled an oil change and diagnostic — and everything was handled through text. I never spoke to anyone face-to-face. The service rep was vague and unhelpful unless I asked very specific questions. I was quoted $550 total for everything (tax, labor, parts, repair) and asked for confirmation at least four times. When I went to pick up my car, the total was suddenly $660 — no clear explanation. They also sent me a form via text asking if I wanted to approve extra services like a bulb replacement and new windshield wipers, which I said yes to. I assumed that was the reason for the added cost — but when I picked up my car, none of that had even been done. To make things worse, all of the original issues with my car are still happening. It still shakes and stalls at stoplights. The sensor still randomly beeps and brake-checks me. They told me everything was “normal,” but clearly nothing was actually fixed. I tried calling the next day to get answers — they left me on hold for over an hour and wouldn’t pick up, even after we called multiple times. But when my boyfriend called, they picked up immediately and gave him answers they never gave me. Turns out, they admitted I never even paid for the bulb replacement — so what exactly was the extra $169 I was charged if my total was only supposed to be $550? I’ve since talked to several other women who’ve had similar experiences here — from their cars sitting for weeks to being ignored or misled unless a man got involved. The pattern is clear: they don’t take women seriously, they’re incredibly unprofessional, and they don’t explain or follow through on the work they charge you for. Save yourself the frustration and take your car literally anywhere else.
