AutoNation Hyundai Corpus Christi
Dealership Sales Review
Due to a traumatic accident before Christmas our TAMUCC student totaled her vehicle. We maxed out our towing coverage and paid another $150.00 to tow it to Auto Nation because it was a Hyundai and they were a dealer for Hyundai. We did not know if it was totaled or not when it was towed there. We are in the DFW area and had to buy a car from pictures and trusting them. Within a month, daughter had to spend over $950.00 on new tires as the tires were 6.5 plus years old and worn out. Initially said daughter could buy the car herself, then we had to co-sign. Overnighted papers to an Auto Nation in Lewisville that we left multiple messages to call us if they had the papers. Finally drove to the Lewisville dealer and they found them for us to sign. We literally sent pictures of my husband’s drivers license at least half a dozen times. Our daughter had to make multiple trips to the dealership in CC to bring them her lease, sign papers again, etc. A month later we are on our way to dinner at nearly 6:00PM and get a phone call from our daughter that she is at the dealership and they need to get our bank information to set up automatic payments. It is required by the credit union they placed the loan with. We are ballistic at this point and no one had told us that. We do not have any checkbooks with us. I had to pull the car over get on my phone and find account information for a account we did not want a draft out of to get my daughter out of there. Husband says we will change it to the correct account later. The actually credit union called a couple of days ago this week and said THEY DID NOT require auto draft. It has been over six weeks and I still think the vehicle still has paper tags as well.
