Tradeline Motorcars

WARNING!! WARNING!! STAY AWAY FAR AWAY from this place. We traveled from Corpus Christi to purchase a truck from this place. We put 10,000 cash for downpayment and they told my husband he was approved took our money and gave us the truck. A week later they call saying they got approval from another bank with a cheaper payment and rate and that he needed to go in to sign papers. He is self employed so had to stop work to travel up to Carrollton to sign paperwork on new finance company. Then that following Wednesday Bob the manager calls him again saying they got another bank to finance but this time the payment and term/rate was higher and they wanted my husband to go back and sign papers again. My husband then told them no he wasnt going to do that deal and dont understand how they could keep changing banks like that. Bob then told him ok then he could take the truck back and they would refund us our downpayment. We drive up to Dallas once again my husband having to miss work to go return the truck. When we get there another guy in the office asks for the keys acting like he was going to check out the truck then Bob tells my husband that he is not going to give him the downpayment back because the bank called him stating his checks are fake. My husband owns his own construction business how can they be fake when he is the boss and pays himself. So then Bob is stating that the police department in Dallas wants to press charges on my husband for fraud checks and that his bank wont give him the money back to give to us and that they are holding it. When my husband told Bob well if he did something wrong then to call the police right there and then, but Bob did not want too. So my husband and I walked out and then called the police ourselves. Everything that Bob had said was a lie we even called the banks that we supposedly got approved from and they all said they never received any paperwork from this dealership in regards to getting financed. We have gotten our lawyer involved and sent the dealership our demand letter. As we can see this is not the first time this dealership has used the fraud checkstub excuse. I hope they do right by returning our downpayment money but I warn you to stay away from this dealership and go elsewhere with trustworthy people.
