Dealership Service Review
We took our truck back for transmission repair. The first time apparently didn’t take. We got checked in and updated by a guy named John. He was friendly and empathetic. They said the transmission guy could get to it soon. He diagnosed it the second week it was there and started repair the third week. He thought it would be done Thursday. John was off Friday, but when it didn’t get rapped up Thursday he told us it would be ready Friday. There were some additional repairs needed that were actually caused by the shop. On Friday, I called the shop to check what time I could get it. The person who responded, Jackie, was mad that I had been told it would be done on Friday. She was very short with me. I asked her if they had gotten my oil changed and inspection done, which I had added to the work order. She said no, and they would need to keep the truck at least three more days to get that done, and that was only IF they had staff on Monday. I was very upset with how she spoke to me, so I had my husband call back to see if we could come get the truck without the extras. He spoke to her while I was standing in the room on speaker phone. She got mad that we had called her back and cussed at him. It was so unprofessional. My recommendation is, if you have to get warranty work done, fine, but don’t take your vehicle to this shop for any additional work. You might have to be without your vehicle for a long period of time and deal with this incredibly unprofessional shop worker.
