Dealer Response
I would like to apologize for the perception you have of our dealership. The mission of Tri-State Ford is to work with the highest regard for accuracy, quality and integrity. I do understand being unhappy with a trade in value. The market value of a vehicle comes down to many factors. When appraising a modified diesel truck, a missing federal regulation factory exhaust as well as needing an engine, does significantly reduce the trade in value. Unfortunately the repairs to restore the truck back to safety, federal, and mechanical standards was just too much money to repair. A mechanical breakdown is a very tragic and unfortunate thing to happen to anyone. Here at Tri-State Ford, our consistent mission is to customer satisfaction. While you were here over the weekend, we gave it our all to compensate you and your family while staying in our town. We had drivers go to another city to pick up a 5th wheel hitch, provided you a vehicle while your new vehicle was getting ready for clean delivery, having the 5th wheel hitch installed, and in this particular case, a complimentary hotel room. We will always strive for perfection here at Tri-State Ford. It is our standard procedure to review all documentation upon completion of the car deal, we provide a full and detailed disclosure to all figures. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding. Thank You, John Simikian, New Car Sales Manager
