After posting my review and sending letters to corporate, I received my call from Performance Toyota! Even though it took strong words to push them into action, Performance Toyota ultimately bargained with me fairly. Under these even bargaining conditions, I agreed to pay for the navigation system and Performance Toyota agreed to switch my car with a new one without making me to a trade in. I think Performance Toyota has learned its lesson and it no longer deserves the prior harsh rating. Let this be a lesson for car salesmen and car buyers: make sure to fully understand the technology in your car before making any deals!
