AutoNation Ford Wolfchase
Dealership Service Review
I am now facing a significant issue with my new 2025 Ford Explorer, which I acquired less than three months ago. Since purchasing the vehicle, the speedometer and touch screen have repeatedly displayed blank screens 4-5 times a week, posing a safety hazard. Despite purchasing all warranties at the time of purchase. I had anticipated that purchasing the warranties would provide adequate coverage for any potential issues, but unfortunately, this has not been the case. I scheduled an oil change and wanted to discuss the dashboard and touchscreen panel with the service department. However, they informed me that I would need to leave my car for a four-to-five-week repair period. While I understand that the repair process may require a temporary suspension of my vehicle’s use, the lack of loaner transportation during this extended period is unacceptable. I have work commitments and appointments that I need to attend, and the extended wait time for a replacement vehicle is inconvenient. Furthermore, the dealership suggested that I consider visiting other dealerships, implying that the wait times at this location are comparable. However, I reside in proximity to this dealership, and I would prefer to resolve the issue at my preferred location. Despite the dealership’s attempts to dismiss the issue and provide a quick oil change, I am left with the responsibility of resolving the dashboard and touchscreen panel issues myself. I have made two payments on a brand-new vehicle, and I am concerned about the potential long-term impact of this problem. While I have appreciated the initial courtesy of the car salesman, I believe that I deserve better treatment and concern from the service department to resolve this issue promptly and effectively. There is no resolution to this issue and I was allowed to leave with the service department knowing this is a safety concern. Going without any transportation for 4-5 weeks and I am sorry is an unacceptable resolution. Not even offering a phone call or understanding. I would not recommend purchasing the warranty or purchasing a vehicle from this location. The oil change was fine. Leaving plastic everywhere inside my vehicle was just inappropriate. Cleaning up behind yourself should be expected by management. No quote or price was given prior to the oil changed. The price was reasonable but no discussion about the oil change and only what they could not do to help me. If I cannot read the dashboard for notifications of gas, tire pressure or speed lints or etc.. it doesn't appear to be a concern to the service department. It's very uncomfortable knowing an accident could happen potentially causing harm to myself or others. I cannot afford to rent a car 4-5 weeks and shouldn't have to when this is the responsibility of AutoNation Ford to resolve. This is a New Beautiful Vehicle
