Salesman provided a prompt response and gave me an on-line quote that beat, by a significant amount, an offer by another dealer. However, when I visited the dealer the Highlander quoted to me was not available at the dealer. The dealer provided 2 alternative that we supposed to be similarly equiped at the same price. They also offer alot more for my potential trade than another Toyota dealer fo a like vehicle. I agreed to purchase one of the vehicles, which had to be transferred from another dealer, but that dealer had add-ons that I did not want. I decided to accept them (at dealer cost) due to the limited availibility of the other options I wanted at the end of the 2012 model year. The dealer provided, what I considered, fair offers on the price of the Highlander "out the door" with or without the door. The purchase experience was better than others I have experienced and there was no pressure on the part of the dealer to buy the added exterior and interior protections or the extended warranties.
