I have never had a better experience purchasing a car. The fact that AutoNation completes a 21 point check on all of its vehicles prior to listing them for sale gave me tremendous peace of mind. Not only that, the customer is provided with a printed copy of the inspection (along with the Carfax Report) and can see exactly what the inspection revealed along with any needed repairs or maintenance that was completed. In my case, the inspection had identified worn tire treads and I received a vehicle with four brand new tires. The best part of the entire experience was working with Jeff Okeefe, the sales person who helped me through the process. Never in my life have I received the level of service I got from Jeff. He explained every step of the purchase process clearly so that I knew what to expect, he answered all of my questions thoroughly impressing me with his expertise in cars, and he made me feel like he had nothing in the world to do other than make sure I found the car I needed that day, regardless of how long it took. What sets Jeff completely apart from anyone I have ever dealt with is the amount of time he took to train me on all aspects of the car’s many features and even set up my personal devices on the audio system. I am a retired teacher and I give Jeff and the purchase experience an A+++. The only negative I can think of was the higher level of pressure I felt in the finance department in relation to purchasing an extended warranty. I appreciated the willingness to negotiate and provide me with the best level of protection possible but for customers who are not interested in a warranty, I’d tone down the pressure and get them out the door faster.
