Dealership Sales Review
We went to Wright to purchase our third car from them - but didn't succeed. Their first offer on the car was just $300 less than MSRP - as opposed to other dealers who will knock off $900 right off on the internet price. I felt like they were starting the "tag team" thing where the sales manager came over at the same time to "explain" and I decided to end the conversation. They knew what I was trying to achieve in my payments and they didn't even come within $100 of it to start. They seem to go by the "old" way of haggling and doing car buying where there is a lot of back and forth and theatrics in ultimately coming up with the magic number, which I find tiring. I bought from a dealer 30 miles away who gave me a good car-buying experience and seemed to value my business. Before I walked in the door, they had given me an internet price that was $900 less than MSRP - something that Wright wouldn't even quote although they have an internet sale division (they ask you to come in to discuss). So long, Wright. You won't get me back as a customer.
