Was told to not come if I didn’t want to buy today

I was in for a test drive for an used vehicle and got to negotiating the price with the sales person. After a while, the sales manager came. I was talking with him for a while. He asked me if he gave me the price I wanted, would I buy it today. I said I wanted to go back to check my financing options and come in another day for the final purchase. He said and I quote “don’t come in if you don’t want to buy it today”. Maybe they should put that in all of their communications with their customers.
